This looks like it will be a fun movie, and Edgar Wright is always brilliant, but it’s not out yet, so let’s nitpick the trailer!
-V8 WRX? All cars in movies and TV shows now have V8s. Hollywood is getting stupid lazy with their car foley.
-Isn’t that the shifter that killed Anton Yelchin?
-Don’t drive with headphones in, kid. You need your ears to drive.
-Someone tell Jamie Foxx that shotguns don’t fire bullets.

Oh damn, that looks good! It’s like every fantasies of Opponauts when they’re 20 y.o. :)
(And the earphones thing is explained in the trailer ;) )

Not really. It says he needs music, not that he has to cancel out his whole sense of hearing. But yes, it should be a ton of fun.

Well, he needs music to concentrate on what he is doing probably because of heavy tinnitus or something similar...

They call me baby driver, and once upon a pair of wheels, I get to rollin’ along...
I will be very surprised if a certain Simon & Garfunkel song doesn’t feature somewhere.

Horrible name for movie (and character) but the driving and action makes up for. Actually looking forward to watching this one

Yeah, I’m guessing Wright will play with the name quite a bit.

Yeah, I watched the trailer again and it makes more sense now. I rescind my comments.

These days I have a hard time with Kevin Spacey if he’s not rockin’ that smooth South Carolina twang from HofC.

The direction and visuals look good; what you’d expect from Edgar Wright, but the story looks really generic and I refuse to be made to like Ansel Elgort.

Had to Google him, and then I was like, “Oh yeah, it’s that kid who played Shailene Woody’s brother and boyfriend.”
I agree, though. The story does look very generic. Good guy works for bad guys. Something goes wrong. He takes the girl and runs. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was generalized a bit for the trailer, though.

Great mini-doc. I’ve seen it a couple of times.
